I wish to take this opportunity to reach out to the students willing to take admission to our college and to their guardians to say a few words about "Sadhan Chandra Mahavidyalaya". We, at Sadhan Chandra Mahavidyalaya, believe that our college is a source of pride not only for Harindanga, Falta but also for the District of South 24 Parganas as well as for West Bengal. The institution though young in age (established in 2007), has started playing a pivotal role in catering quality education to students hailing from the nearby localities as well as from the remote villages of South 24 Parganas. Most importantly students from all communities, caste and creed have given this Institution a truly cosmopolitan character and a unique distinction

Sadhan Chandra Mahavidyalaya is a State Government aided and affiliated college of University of Calcutta. It is situated at Harindanga, P.O. Chaberia, P.S. Falta, Dist. South 24-Parganas. It is about 38 km away from Esplanade, Kolkata and 25 Km away from IIM, Joka. The college is providing quality education to the students and excels in areas pertaining to their all round development and up gradation of society at large. The aim of the college is to cater and fulfill the needs of the rural youths of Bengal. The college offers Under Graduate(U.G.) (i) Honours courses in subjects: Bengali, English, History, Education, Philosophy, Political Science and General courses besides the above subjects are Geography and Sanskrit in disciplines of Arts.
